Run (don't walk) like an Egyptian to listen to this new episode! True to form, Lorelai offers to host the town rummage sale to raise money for refurbishing a bridge but can't bear to part with any of her sparkly head bandanas or rhinestone-encrusted army print jackets. Rory and the Chilton Heathers (Paris, Louise, and Madeline) are assigned to a debate team, and the ladies take a right at the rooster statue (Hi, Monte!) to work on their group project in Rory's cluttered living room with Pop Tart appetizers and pizza as sustenance. Sookie is the best friend ever and gets Lorelai her dream tickets to see The Bangles, before Lorelai (thoughtfully?) offers them to the girls. The five of them head to NYC where Lorelai and Sookie scream with laughter from the nosebleeds and L & M take off with some randos, only to be caught and chastised by Lorelai in full-mom mode. Also, Luke loses his cool over an article of clothing, and we hear some tall tales about one of Stars Hollow's most infamous former residents, Rachel. . . .
