Who am I? An existential question that is especially hard to answer in a connected world. Proving who we are online is complicated, when our ID cards are still physical. A technology that is in development could help us regain control using a special form of digital wallet: Self-sovereign identities, or SSI, use cutting-edge cryptography, including zero-knowledge proofs.
