Episode 2. Heartfelt Access & Innovation (w/Matthew Ostroff)

On the show today I welcome Matthew Ostroff. Imagine this: You’re seconds away from being the lead actor in a major motion picture. After years of hard work it all comes down to this moment. The phone rings, adrenaline pulses through your body and your Agent says: “They cancelled the film.” Obviously, it’s a call that actors hate to receive, but when it can alter the trajectory of your entire career, it can be devastating. My guest decided to take his destiny into his own hands and pivot into a completely new world of service and healthcare. After earning the “Outstanding Graduate Award” from Drexel University, Matthew became a lead clinician and an acute care nurse practitioner. He soon brought new techniques and innovation to the world of vascular access. From newborns to 90 years olds, these innovations are allowing advanced procedures once performed in the O.R. to now be achieved at bedside. Matthew has shared his vision for vascular access all throughout the US, Canada, Latin America, Europe and most recently Rome. If you’re in search of the original “McSteamy” look no further or rather, listen up…this is FULLY ALIVE!”
