Broadcom Mainframe  Analyst Event: Broadcom demonstrated their continued investment and growth in mainframe software, including new capabilities such as Watchtower and  their investment in the "vitality program" focused on training and hiring non-traditional candidates for high-paying system programming roles. AWS reInforce: This AWS event focused on cloud security, highlighted AWS's efforts to enhance their security infrastructure and customer tools, including AI models and new security features.  Splunk Acquisition by Cisco: Splunk, recently acquired by Cisco, showcased their commitment to innovation and integration within Cisco's ecosystem and maintaining innovation momentum while integrating with Cisco's existing technologies like AppDynamics and Thousand Eyes. Oracle Cloud and Google: Oracle & Google announce collaborating to provide customers with interoperability between their respective cloud platforms.
