GC15: Gamifying Knowledge Sharing | with Brian Clausen from Experts Exchange

If your organization is like most others, important information is scattered across various emails, outdated documentation, and the minds of employees. If you have implemented a knowledge management system, getting people to put what they know into it is like pulling teeth. In episode 10, we talked with Steve and Thomas about programs they’ve helped develop internally at Accenture for social collaboration. Today Jesse looks at an out-of-the-box solution for knowledge management, so you can see whether this approach is right for your organization. Brian Clausen is the CEO of Experts Exchange, a technology help site that makes finding answers easier. Experts Exchange launched in 1996 and is home to more than 100,000 active experts that provide reliable answers on a variety of tech topics. In 2012, the company took what they’ve learned in knowledge management to launch Expert Office, a private knowledge-sharing platform that you can use for your own company.
