458: The Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda is perhaps Miyamoto's most personal game, coming out in 1985. Zelda unfolds more like a fantasy novel than a 10-minute thrill-ride, with an open world to explore and a definite, if simple, character arc. Legend of Zelda first launched over 30 years ago, and Link has starred in many adventures, each retelling an ancient tale. We'll dive into the legend and history of the Zelda franchise before Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hits. For exclusive bonus podcasts like our Justice League Review show, GHL Extra & Film Footsteps Movie Review Show join the Geek History Lesson Patreon ► https://www.patreon.com/JawiinGHL RECOMMENDED READING from this episode► http://geekhistorylesson.com/recommendedreading FOLLOW GHL►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/geekhistorylessonTwitter: https://twitter.com/GHLPodcastFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/geekhistorylessonGet Your GHL Pin: https://etsy.me/3QEVtBl You can follow Ashley at https://twitter.com/Ashleyvrobinson or https://www.ashleyvictoriarobinson.com/Follow Jason at https://twitter.com/Jawiin or https://www.jasoninman.com/Thanks for showing up to class today.
