Teen Vogue Writers Isabella Gomez Sarmiento and Tess Garcia on Freelancing and the Future of Digital Media

On today’s episode, freelance writers Tess Garcia and Isabella Gomez Sarmiento join us to talk the ever-changing media landscape, getting published in major publications while still in college, and much more. Tess Garcia is a student at the University of Michigan who doesn’t really feel like explaining her major. She’s penned articles for InStyle, Teen Vogue, Ms. Magazine, Latina Magazine and more. She’s also a certified yoga instructor and sticks her head under the sink several times a day to replenish her curls. Isabella Gomez Sarmiento is a Venezuelan writer based in Atlanta finishing her B.A. at Georgia State University. Her work has been published in CNN, Remezcla, Noisey, and more. She currently writes a political column for Teen Vogue and spends most of her time listening to Bad Bunny.
