Professional athletes, particularly triathletes, cyclists, and runners, typically train for 25 to 35 hours per week. However, the average age group athlete typically has a maximum of 10 to 15 hours to train, with a more realistic range of six to 10 hours. In this episode, we will discuss why it is not advisable to follow the exact same training program as a professional athlete. While we aim to learn from the pros, we only want to model not copy their methods to improve our own training.
