The secret to making mom friends

We were never meant to parent alone. But for lots of people, parenting young children is a really lonely time. We want to change that! In this episode, we talk about how to make friends in a meaningful way that goes beyond just sharing your baby’s milestones and saying that everything is "fine".  Takeaways: Treat making parent friends like speed dating. It’s OK if you don’t hit it off with everyone.  For us, focusing on a couple of really close friends has been far better than getting to know a large group at a superficial level. If you’re looking for friendship, going for a walk or a hike can be a great way to get to know someone Just because someone also has a baby, doesn’t mean you have to be friends.
