Haunted Slumber Party at The Biltmore Hotel with Hadley Meares (Pre-Corona That Is)

Recorded prior to the 2020 Corona Virus shutdown, Bridget and friends decided to do a haunted slumber party at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. The set the mood, they called historian Hadley Meares. Hadley is a historical journalist who focuses primarily on Los Angeles history. She writes regularly for outlets including Curbed LA, LAist, KCET, the History Channel and The Hollywood Reporter. She also leads history tours around LA for both Atlas Obscura and Cartwheel Art. Hadley just debuted her new podcast Underbelly L.A., which tells shady, dark stories from LA’s deceptively sunny past. Originally from North Carolina, she grew up learning the legends and lore of the South, and has a particular interest in ghost stories and what they can tell us about the people who told them and the places they are based.
