Dr. Janie Grumley | What it Means To Be a Forever Surgeon in Health Care
Born in Taiwan and raised in Canada, Dr. Janie Grumley became a competitive figure skater before beginning her training to become a surgeon. She chose breast cancer as her field of specialty and learned the advanced procedure of Oncoplasty – removing a breast tumor and in the same surgery reconstructing the breast. She is developing new programs at the Margie Petersen Breast Center at Providence St. John’s in Santa Monica, she operated on me when I had breast cancer in 2019.
