#129 Mitch Wallis - Mental Health Expert

Mitch Wallis is a great friend and someone who I truly look up to.From the outside looking in Mitch had what seemed to be the perfect life. He was the youngest intern ever at Microsoft Australia, and then poached and brought to America to run global teams for Microsoft. But on the inside Mitch was crumbling. Suffering multiple mental health issues he knew something had to change.Mitch studied psychology at Columbia University and fell in love with it and knew it was his calling. He left Microsoft and spent some time doing the work to manage his own mental health battles. From here he started his charity Heart On My Sleeve which has impacted millions of lives worldwide. Mitch is also one of Australia's premiere mental health educators and someone I am so inspired by.A few key topics in this chatGrowing upEaly OCD diagnosisHigh schoolMicrosoftColumbia University and psychologyHOMSConnection tipsI loved this chat and so will you!Mitch's LinksINSTAGRAM - www.instagram.com/mitch.wallis/?hl=enWEBSITE - https://www.mitchwallis.com/HOMS - https://www.heartonmysleeve.org/This episode is proudly sponsored by Ārepa Brain Performance Drink!
