At just 24 years old, Kal has already achieved so much—from advocating for and installing solar panels at his high school to founding Plastic Free Cronulla, and representing Australian youth at the COP UN conferences.Kal’s journey doesn’t stop there. He’s the creative mind behind the documentary Rising Up, which highlights the urgency of climate action, and has taken on leadership roles as the general manager of Defina Swimwear, promoting sustainable practices in the fashion industry. Now, he’s leading youth environmental education through his Blue Minds initiative and is running as an independent candidate for council in the Sutherland Shire.
