#82 Brad Dryburgh - Storyteller, Cystic Fibrosis Advocate

Brad Drysburgh is a special man.Brad was born with a life-threatening illness known as Cystic Fibrosis. He was diagnosed with liver disease at the age of 9, diabetes at 13, and from the age of 16, he started to undergo routine surgeries to remove dangerous oesophageal varices before they burst & bled internally.Brad refuses to believe that Cystic Fibrosis will limit or define his life. In 2020 his lungs began bleeding & continued to do so for three days. Whilst lying in a hospital bed at the emergency department, he decided that he would use the opportunity to inspire others & prove that we are not defined by our circumstances but rather by how we respond to them.A few key topics in this chatBeing born with Cystic Fibrosis Growing up with an incredible familyHealth complications through high schoolBecoming a real estate agentA hospital bed conversation that changed his lifeCreating 'A lot to talk about' podcastPurpose fuels progressThe power of storytelling.I loved this chat and so will you!Brad's LinksPODCAST - podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/a-lot-to-talk-about/id1498761230INSTAGRAM - www.instagram.com/bradleyjdryburgh/?hl=enSPEAKING - www.saxton.com.au/speakers/bradley-dryburghThis episode is proudly sponsored by Ārepa Brain Performance Drink!
