Marcus Alphed - on disabled people and respect

Marcus has been living in several cities in Sweden, has been studying Musik Therapy and currently working in school for disabled kids. This will be a very calm and slowly-paced conversation, focusing on respecting people, regardless of their background, culture, abilities etc. Our guest will share his experience of seeing at night through thick contact lenses when glare feels very disturbing, suggesting «islands of soft light» as a comfortable alternative. Marcus will delicately share why having many colours in the «city palette» matters and why respect is a foundation of a society. Casting light on citizens and their urban life through 4 simple questions. This season's theme is: DANCE! This is my way to connect citizens through sharing their stories. Why not dive into a pool of opinions and views on a city and artificial lighting, described by people from around the world? Next time you walk through your city, notice that every person passing by has their own story and you might hear it soon. acityforyou.wordpress.com
