Namo Marouf - on representation and communication

I am happy to share this inspirational episode with Lilla Namo, born in Akalla (Stockholm), a rapper and urbanist, communicator and role model with a superpower (which - she will explain answering the 2nd question). Features of her utopia are colour (ex. Portobello Street in London), playfulness, windows that tell a story, feeling that you (and every user) own every street. And yes, we speak about equality but in a very personal and wide manner. Representation is a key, this is what Namo mentions throughout our conversation. One lesson from Namo: communicate your ideas through «soft» arts. Why not dive into a pool of opinions and views on a city and artificial lighting, described by people from around the world? Next time you walk through your city, notice that every person passing by has their own story and you might hear it soon. acityforyou.wordpress.com
