#328 Great.com Talks With... Food For Others

Northern Virginia is heavily impacted by COVID. It left families in dire situations, and food shortages are rising. Northern Virginia's safety net took a hard hit, with many businesses going bust and families ending up in poverty. Low-income neighborhoods were especially affected by the pandemic. So the need for food banks and food pantries to distribute food from groceries falls in the hand of charities. Food For Others mobilizes the community to distribute food for those in need. Through donations, community partners programs, and volunteers, Food For Others helps families affected by COVID with food and resources.
