New Year, New Health & Medical TV

There’s a new slate of health and medical TV shows premiering this year. Gwyneth Paltrow’s Netflix show, The Goop Lab, is already causing controversy so we discuss why some doctors have a problem with it. Ryan Murphy takes a stab at recreating one of the most feared nurses, Nurse Ratched, in the scripted show Ratched. There’s also some reality shows that might be too hard to watch like My Feet Are Killing Me which follows a podiatrist as she takes on fungal infections. All this and more! *GROSS ANATOMY IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. Om Podcasten

Gross Antaomy is where pop culture and health culture meet. Dr. Jason Cohen and Ali address medical questions that the doc is asked by friends, family, and often strangers. We also love to talk pop culture and how it relates to health and medicine — like celebrity diets, Amy Schumer speaking out about endometriosis and our doctor reviews of medical TV and movies. We also splice in professional interviews, check out our episode with TV writer and The Resident co-creator Dr. Roshan Sethi, or our interview with famous plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Rey aka DR. 90210, and don't miss our Q&A with Miss USA Nana Meriwether and many more!
