HPR4320: Switching my Mastodon account
One way in which the Fediverse is different from corporate social media is that there is no center. By definition, these platforms are a federation of independent servers. This has consequences in that you may have a server that is run by a single person and if that person gets tired of doing it, or faces life situations that get in the way, your server may have to go away.
