A New Era Of Leadership In The Beauty Industry With Blake Reed Evans

Join The Vitality Project here! The Vitality Project is the industry's FIRST wellness program. This done for you program can be plugged directly into your school, salon or spa environment. Your students and employees will be given tools to help them better take care of themselves and clients. On this episode, Elizabeth has an important conversation with Blake Reed Evans. Since beginning his career journey, Blake has locked down accreditation as a Redken Certified Hair colorist with features in “Modern Salon”, “American Salon”, and “First Chair” magazine. As a “Top 30 Colorist under 30”, he’s been recognized as providing top notch service and exceptional hair color results. Blake has been a part of the Redken Artist Network since 2014, fueling his passion for teaching by facilitating classes for salon professionals nationwide. They chat about how to create safe environments in your salon and spa and how to make your client's feel comfortable, and how you as beauty pros can hold space. They talk about how important it is as salon owners and leaders to create these environments for not only your clients, but your stylists.  Blake shared his #1 tip when it comes to being a salon owner in this episode, and it was sooo good, we had to share it below! Here's the tip: You have to be intentional with every interaction with your team members. It's so important as leaders to remember that you are monumental part in how the environment in your salon feels, and you need to make sure you have the tools to ensure your nervous system is regulated, and when things go wrong you have healthy tools on how to handle those situations.  Comment PODCAST to listen to the episode!
