S02 E13 Iso-Diaries: Sage Flowers on Accountability

Harness is back! Welcome to isolation... we are exploring how people are harnessing this unique time of COVID-19 and whether (or not) they are coping. This week we continue our discussions around BLM with particular focus on Pride and Trans issues. We have the pleasure of interviewing Romy and Iona from Sage Flowers in South London. Romy and Iona are small business owners who are making a big difference when it comes to matters of inclusion and diversity within the British flower world. The traditional art of floristry in the UK, is typically associated with whiteness and elitism.  Romy and Iona have taken many impressive measures to challenge the status quo and hold themselves and others accountable. Please follow their creative work and activism via their instagram page @sage.flowers You can also find them through their website www.sageflowers.co.uk where (if you are UK based) you can order their gorgeous arrangements.   If you want to get in touch, please email us at projectharness@gmail.com, feel free to send over a voice note with how you are passing the time (a template for this is available on our Instagram if you are stuck).
