5 minutes on trauma with Dr. Gabor Maté

Today we release a short clip from an episode with Dr Gabor Maté, about trauma and addiction. Dr Gabor Mate is an internationally renowned speaker, highly sought after for his addiction, trauma and childhood development expertise. Author of best-selling books, including When The Body Says No: The Cost of Hidden Stress, or Hold on to Your Kids, the Myth of Normal (check his website).Gabor explains how to heal a trauma, and what would be the best reaction if you have a close one suffering from an addiction. The interview was made in Kaplankaya, during the 5th season of the Harvest event. Next week, we will release Dennis Okwera's interview in Kaplankaya. He is a model, scouted in the streets of London. He grew up during the civil war in Uganda. He will tell how he escaped Uganda, and the first thing he did when he started earning money, was to send it to his village.
