Isaac Kohane, MD, PhD - Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics, Harvard Medical School discusses the impact of generative AI on the advancing fields of health and biomedical informatics, his book: “The AI Revolution in Medicine: GPT-4 and Beyond” and his new role as Editor-in-Chief of NEJM AI. Dr. Kohane touches on explainable AI, the importance of data sharing and the future of education in the ChatGPT age. Closing the interview, Dr. Kohane graciously offers valuable advice and encouragement to students pursuing fields linking artificial intelligence, health and medicine.
