Does remote patient monitoring impact patient outcomes? Two McMaster Professors Investigate

Remote patient monitoring (RPM) holds great promise not only for convenient safe care in the comfort of home, but also for reduced costs from reduced readmissions. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence that RPM is effective, but Dr. Devereaux and Dr. McGillion of McMaster University are working on a study that is looking to see how RPM impacts post-op patient outcomes.
