Kallang River Body Parts Murder | 2005 | 1/2

On the morning of 16 June, 2005, a cleaner was making his usual rounds along the banks of the Kallang River in Singapore when he spotted something odd in the water. At first, he dismissed it as just another piece of thrash, but when he picked it up, a severed torso fell out, leaving him in complete shock.  Part 1 - We follow the police investigation as they look into the grisly findings along the Kallang River, and its connections to a Chinese migrant named Liu Hong Mei, and her illicit lover Leong Siew Chor.  Part 2 - We dive deeper into the motive for the gruesome murder, and relay the events as they happened on that fateful June day in 2005.
