Co-Sleeping With the Enemy

Some parents swear by co-sleeping, while others swear it's dangerous and should be avoided. Right now, Jen is in a the middle of a co-sleeping crisis! Her precious little 2-year-old is keeping her up ALL NIGHT...Which is making Kaela, a new mom who has been co-sleeping, very nervous - will the baby ever transition to a crib now that snuggling with mom has been the routine? And does she even want that to happen?  The girls talk pros and cons of co-sleeping, when the cute little baby in Jen's bed became the enemy, and why each of them chose the sleep method they did... Jen's was a decision made because of painful loss, Kaela's from new-momma protective instinct, and Corri's (her babies were bassinet/crib sleepers) out of being an anxious rule-follower.  They also unlock the key to weaning with a new invention that just might be genius... (nipple dip, anyone?).  ---------------- Reach out! Om Podcasten

Jen Mayer Kulp, Corri English, and Kaela Kinney pull their real life mom convos up in front of a mic so that moms can feel seen, heard, and included… without judgement. It‘s the place for a fun, feel-good hang - where we don’t care if you breast or bottle feed, co-sleep or cry it out, sanitize a paci until it spontaneously combusts or lick it and put it straight back in baby’s mouth. The common thread is loving the crap out of these tiny humans we get to raise, while also sharing in the fact that it’s hard as sh*t. We aren’t experts, just mommas, living right in the thick of mom life. Connect with us: info@himynameismom.com
