Back in 2014 I was hosting Baltimore's premiere underground hip-hop program Strictly Hip-Hop. This was around the time the cops killed Freddie Gray....so that Friday I put on for my people! My goal wasn't to reinforce the riots that took place in B-More...but to express the anger, frustration, and sadness my people felt.
