15: Jacky St James
Jacky St James is a female erotic director and script writer. She has a BA in film and got into porn by winning a screenwriting contest for New Sensations, which she directed and ended up winning an AVN award for. She has since then won numerous awards for her movies, which are generally dialogue-driven with strong female protagonists and are often considered “romance” porn movies. In 2016 she co-created a Showtime erotic series called Submission which did so well she has been tapped to do the sequel. In a world where female erotic directors are few and far between, Jacky stands out in the top of her class.
