Balancing Blood Sugar for Better Hormones

As an integrative and functional women’s health dietitian, part of my job is to figure out the root cause(s) of my patients’ symptoms. In many cases, I find that hormone imbalances and symptoms can be directly linked to less than optimal blood sugar levels and what it’s doing to their bodies. In fact, balancing blood sugar is a foundational strategy for most people. Today’s episode is all about biology and how blood sugar affects women’s hormones.
