From the mount and plane, Yeshua meticulously describes the protocol unto becoming a child of God to his disciples. 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. The words of Yeshua is the seed, that if received initiates the procedure unto being born again - a child of God. Therefore, being poor in spirit; mourning over your sins & unrighteousness; being meek; hungering & thirsting after righteousness; being merciful; pure in heart; a peacemaker; being persecuted & reviled for righteousness & for Yeshua’s name sake isn’t a choice. If your desire is to be a child of God, these are the characteristics one must contend for. However, in much the same way, the religious establishment back then as they are now, due to semantic change, and biblical cultural eisegesis, were and are unable to receive the word - their religious & denominational filters make it incomprehensible. As a consequence, Messiah affirmed to his disciples on the mount and plane, as well as to us today, that the seed, that lives and abides forever is indeed the word of YeHoVaH.
