Lucy Durack won’t wait for happiness to just happen

Lucy Durack is on the edge of a nervous breakdown… Or at least, that’s how it can sometimes feel on opening night of a new play or musical. If she lets her focus lie on all the production notes, line changes and new stage directions, she’ll collapse into an anxious wreck.  But of course, those are all important parts of a performer’s job - so how does she play her part, without falling apart?  Over the course of her career, Lucy’s received a wealth of wise advice from the stars who came before her. She’s learned how calming gratitude can be, how important it is to have projects outside of her day job, and most importantly, that she can’t wait for life not to be hard before she chooses to be happy.  Connect with Lucy on Instagram or on the Hey Lemonade website   *** My new book Time Wise is out now.
