7: Smells Like Team Spirit – the nomenclature of the gig economy and curating brilliant teams

Barry and Eleanor Matthews discuss the various different terms that are used to describe the gig economy and provide a structure that helps to provide some much needed consistency.  They also discuss whether it’s possible to create effective teams when working remotely and digitally and when the team members are globally distributed and comprised of a multitude of different employment models. They are joined by the amazing Laura Thompson from Phenomenal Training.  Laura is an expert in culture, change and communications and has been delivering change and leadership programmes through her business Phenomenal Training since 2008. She’s also an expert on robotics and AI and its impact on the way we work.  Laura has a background in human psychology, she is a Ted speaker an author a podcaster and an expert in creating high performing teams. It was such a fun and engaging conversations that included Latitude Festival, Darwin, RARA, 4Cs, Pandas and Foxes!  Definitely one not to be missed
