Harrison Wolf CSPO '14, Computer Science and Psychology, Formerly Director of Digital Marketing and Sales at Budnitz Bicycles

Embracing a career transition, taking time off from college, using self-awareness to step back then grow with Harrison Wolf, a 2014 graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in computer science. Harrison was also Rally Cat for a few years while in school!  Harrison spent 6 years working for Dealer.com, a large technology company servicing the automotive industry, before moving over to a start-up selling high-end bicycles, until the company no longer had funds to pay his salary.  He is currently in a career transition, which the bulk of this episode discusses. We talk about his self-awareness and how it started while in college as he moved through different interests to finally land on what he wanted to do for the future.  We specifically break down how to be more effective at networking, with tangible advice and discuss how critical it is to be honest with yourself and take a break or step away from a situation or opportunity when it is needed.  If you're stuck, or in a career transition, give this one a listen!
