Caggie Dunlop on opening up the conversation on sobriety and depression

On today’s episode I am joined by podcaster, author, former Made in Chelsea cast member and a very old friend of mine, Caggie Dunlop. Caggie is well known for her podcast, Saturn Returns, which is designed to help listeners feel calm during times of transitions - particularly during our late twenties which is a time that often brings big periods of change and unrest in many aspects of our lives. Caggie has recently written a book inspired by her hugely popular podcast where she shares personal stories, expert advice and empowers readers to embrace their own spiritual journey. Caggie knows first hand how challenging this period is and has been very open about feeling unsettled during her twenties, struggling with both anxiety and depression and drinking in a destructive way. I’m so pleased to have the opportunity to talk to her today about what she did to overcome the discomfort, learn to accept herself and ultimately improve her mental health.Find Caggie: Saturn Returns Website: https://www.saturnreturns.co.uk/instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caggiesworld/Book: https://amzn.eu/d/7qRvEqZPodcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/il/podcast/saturn-returns-with-caggie/id1502641301Follow Hurt to Healing on Instagram:@hurttohealingpodA big thank you our wonderful charity partner Shout. Om Podcasten

Welcome to the Hurt to Healing podcast with me, Pandora Morris. I’ve been fighting an uphill battle with my mental health for years and it’s only now that I’ve started to see some glimmers of light. It’s almost unbelievable to think I am starting this podcast considering my incessant compulsions would normally try to talk me out of it. But here I am, continuing to fight my invisible bullies one day at a time.

As part of my own recovery, I’ve made it my mission to support as many of you as possible on your own healing journey. I’ll be speaking to wonderful people from all walks of life who will open up about their own invisible struggles in the hope that it will provide a bit of solace and comfort for some of you. I’ll also be speaking to leading experts and doctors about different disorders and therapies that might help each of you expand your knowledge on the world of mental health.
