IB DS 6.0 An introduction to the extended inquiry

Welcome to today’s episode of the IB Digital Society podcast! In this episode, we’ll delve into the High-Level (HL) extended inquiry into digital interventions addressing global challenges. We’ll explore three key areas—global well-being, governance and human rights, and sustainable development—breaking down their subtopics and examining the role of digital tools in mitigating, enhancing, or resolving these pressing issues. Students are encouraged to evaluate the impact of these interventions, recommend future actions, and apply these insights to assessments, particularly HL Paper 3. With examples provided and a focus on locally relevant solutions, this inquiry empowers us to critically examine how technology can shape a better world. Let’s get started!
