IG’s Week Ahead starting 2 October: RBA, RBNZ rate decisions
The currency markets have been dominated recently by the dollar strength so next week it will be a relief to find opportunities to trade other currencies. With the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) both on rate watch the obvious trade will be around AUD/NZD. Outside of this there is jobs data in the States with non-farm payrolls and the ADP private payroll data. On the corporate agenda, keep an eye out for Levi Strauss, Boohoo, Greggs, and Constellation brands on earnings.
