Ep # 3 | Developing Visual Language

Hey Everyone - It’s Devyn and Emily and we’re back in the studio today with some of the most influential creatives in Atlanta. Michelle and Forrest are creative partners who have aesthetic visions that overlap, they use Instagram as a tool to truly share a unique perspective on color and composition. Together, they make work that draws on the feeling of an ambiguous time and place. They talk about their love story, process and letting go of their own personal photography identities to create something far bigger as a duo - Tropico Photo. The two have curated distinguished projects for Postemates, All Birds and Corkcicle just to name a few. They share about developing a visual language, why travel inspires so much of their work and how they’ve learned to communicate in a creative relationship.

We’re after a space to talk to people who are using social platforms for passionate and unconventional messages and are making waves in our community because of it. Some topics you can expect from this season are: art, community, activism, mental health, identity + culture, social media (and how it can be a lens into all these things)
