Ep # 4 | The Art of Deconstruction

On today’s episode we sit down with one of our favorite Atlanta artists and painters - Erin Tapp. When Erin was only 7 years old she turned her basement into her own art lair - this is where she learned how to express herself. As an Atlanta native, she talks about what it was like growing up in this town and coming back, the bustle of the creative community, the influence of social media and how to navigate it all as authentic as possible. Fun fact - Erin has a painting studio in our space downstairs for over a year and she’s very quickly has became an Imagine muse. Her process is messy - in fact, in the coolest way I’ve never seen her without some kind of bright paint all over on her wardrobe. She works on multiple pieces at a time and she is never afraid to completely deconstruct and reconstruct with layers of color and happy patterns. We can’t wait for you to hear this one.

Om Podcasten

Dev and Em here - we’re really excited to launch Season 3 of Imagine More with you guys. Our goal is to dedicate this podcast to cutting through the noise of feeds and likes. We’re after a space to talk to people who are using social platforms for passionate and unconventional messages and are making waves in our community because of it. Some topics you can expect from this season are: art, community, activism, mental health, identity + culture, social media (and how it can be a lens into all these things)
