And we are joined by special guest host Chris Akinbuwa of “I Love Nerd Life”. The film has won multiple awards for its screenplay, most notably Best Script Award-London for the best LGBT Screenplay. The film addresses mental health in the Black community, what happens to the family dynamic and familial relationships when a member chooses to live closeted, how “daddy issues” manifest in real life, and finally, what healing looks like.
