S4 EP7 | Scoring Hat-Tricks: engaging players & communities

For Hat-Trick, football is their bread and butter. And like thousands of clubs across the country, they have seen, first-hand, how football impacts its players and supporters. But for a lot of these clubs, the goal is to outreach non-football fanatics (they exist!) and to engage with the wider community. What can you do to encourage people to join the game? How can you help people who don’t think football is for them? This episode we travel to St John’s Primary School, where Keith Parsons and the Hat-Trick team tackle how to build networks within your club through volunteers, local organisations and communities. Journey with #InTheBox presenters Charlotte and Tom into the North-East, as they watch the Hat-Trick project in action.
