There are moments in our collective history that will forever be a mystery...On this episode we wonder just what was on those tapes from the White House during the Watergate scandal in '18 1/2'. In 1974, a White House transcriber is thrust into the Watergate scandal when she obtains the only copy of the infamous 18½ minute gap in Nixon's tapes. Sure it's a 'what if' fictionalized story, but seeing this story intertwined with hippies, radicals, swingers and an awkward love story is actually what makes this pretty fun.From the mind of writer/director Dan Mirvish we get the unique chance to not only see what makes this story tick but him tick as well as this film is a quirky mix of comedy and drama with some surprising faces that make this all work MUCH better then it actually should.
