The festival might be over but the work never ends....While COVID may have taken us out for a good chunk of this years edition of the Toronto International Film Festival that doesn't mean we didn't catch some cinematic goodness while we were there.  On this episode we look at 'Charcoal'.Set in the Brazilian countryside, a family straining to care for their bedridden patriarch have their lives changed when a private nurse with a shady background offers a deal that's impossible to say no to.: put their elder to rest and host an Argentinian drug kingpin who urgently needs a place to hide.The film had it's World Premiere at this last edition of TIFF and we had the unique pleasure of sitting down with writer/director Carolina Markowicz about the origins of the film and so very much more....
