Femininity isnt for male approval

You don’t become feminine. You perform it. From the moment we’re little girls, we’re taught how to smile, shrink, soften, and serve. We’re conditioned to make ourselves palatable—*not powerful.* To be chosen—not to choose. In this episode, I talk about strategic femininity, girlhood conditioning, and the emotional exhaustion of performing for the male gaze. This isn’t about abandoning femininity—it’s about reclaiming it on our own terms. I also reflect on my time working in the club, the pressure to be "soft" and "easy to talk to," and why most of what we call “feminine” is just survival under patriarchy.  If you’ve ever felt like you’re performing a version of yourself just to be accepted—this is for you.
