Don't miss out on any interviews with your favorite authors! sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date with new episodes (nothing spammy I promise!)http://ow.ly/MySI50uJ5Es ------------------------------------------ In episode 29 I chat with best-selling author Roshani Chokshi! We chat about how her Aru Shah story became the first book in Rick Riordan's new imprint, and all about the series, which is based in hindu mythology. She gives her insight into the differences in writing young adult vs middle grade, and we delve deep into the ways middle grade challenged her as a writer. Lots of really good stuff if you're a writer and want some insight into how to differentiate between the two age ranges. We also spend a good chunk of time talking generally about art and creating, what it's like to prove yourself as a woman, how the things that make us weird kids make us awesome adults, and so much more. I had an absolute blast chatting with her, and I think anyone with a creative streak will get something out of her thoughts and words.
