Ep 10: A conversation with Sce Pike, CEO of IOTAS
In this episode of Inside Access Control, I catch up with Sce Pike, CEO of IOTAS. IOTAS works in the multifamily market where they help multifamily owners and operators turn their buildings into smart homes and communities. With their background in user experience, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, they designed their company to be an "as a service" company that is bringing correlations between retention, usage, etc and the utilities like access control, lighting, and HVAC. Recently, in an effort to help their customers in the midst of the Coronavirus crisis they launched an easy self-tour solution that will allow for prospects to get into buildings and see a model unit on their own in order to maintain safe social-distancing for apartment staff and future residents.
