Sentinel dVPN: Why decentralized VPN matters for dWeb

In this episode of Interchain.FM, we talk to Dan Edlebeck, CEO of Exidio, the core development team behind Sentinel, a decentralized VPN solution built with Cosmos SDK. Originally built on Ethereum, Sentinel has since migrated to its very own, sovereign blockchain, to best address the scaling needs of its application. Decentralized VPN has a very similar network architecture to that of the Tor network, allowing its users to browse the web in a private and encrypted manner. The only difference is, Sentinel builds in incentives for running the most at-risk nodes, the entry and exit nodes, and rewards its node providers for providing an otherwise public service, like it is in Tor. We also cover its community, particularly its rabid blue fren gang, made under the imagery of a repurposed Pepe the Frog in the color of Sentinel blue.
