1 Year Video Marketing Challenge Update
Are you getting the most out of your YouTube marketing? Or are you ready to step up your content marketing game with Video marketing? Over the last year, I started with zero videos and have created an audience and a sustainable online business. This video shows the exact results from all of my video marketing efforts over the last year and I also show the results in my blog and website traffic from syndicating the videos and written versions of the content to my blog. I go in depth in this video on what it truly takes to achieve success with your content marketing whether you are focusing on video marketing or blogging. The marketing 'game' is the same because both Google and YouTube use the same algorithm and the benefits are similar in that you get residual traffic from your efforts... So your marketing efforts compound over time. With Facebook marketing or other social media marketing, your content often gets buried fast meaning that posts you created months ago are no longer working for you and driving traffic. This is why I always recommend people start by focusing in on either video marketing or blogging for their content marketing efforts. Once you begin content marketing, it is important to create an initial push with your marketing for at least 90 to 120 days. This push should include one post or video per day for 90+ days. This helps you learn your voice, get comfortable publishing content on this channel and proving to the search engines that you are a consistent publisher so they look to you as a potential partner. Another important point is the quality of your content... It is important to publish world-class content... And don't worry if your first few posts or videos are less than perfect... That's normal! You will get better at content marketing over time as you find your voice and get comfortable stepping into your new role as a content creator.
