YouTube announced last week their "New Approach To YouTube Monetization" where they are changing the requirements for new channels to get access to the monetization tools within YouTube. Now, they have added 2 additional requirements: 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours viewed in the last 12 months. Are they making it more difficult for new YouTubers on purpose?
