Brno and South Moravia special featuring bar and bistro Atelier. We first hear from Milan describing how he fell in love with hospitality before describing the origins of Atelier and how it developed from a pop-up to its current permanent site in Brno. Arielle talks about her transition from working in hospitality in New York to moving to Brno and establishing Civil Wines. Milan takes us on a virtual tour of Atelier, changes over time and how it was received in the local and Expat communities. Before Arielle goes deeper into the reaction and Atelier’s place within the Expat scene. On the food side we talk about authenticity and how Atelier stays true to its place in Moravia while bringing in their influences. Milan then introduces us to the Cuvee Atlelier produced by local winery Plener. Arielle first looks ahead to the development of Civil Wines and wider promotion of Brno as a tourist destination.
