S01EP21: Midsummer truths, daddy issues, C-19 baby names, and age restricting politics.
In this episode the boys get back to their roots and get together to do a solo episode without guests. They kick start the episode describing their midsummer celebrations. Midsummer is Sweden's second biggest celebration after Christmas when the whole country shuts down to enjoy summer and its festivities. Listen how Choppa drops knowledge about the celebration which truly will leave you spellbound. The origin story of the celebration is truly an interesting one to listen to. The boys then swiftly acknowledge fathers day and dive into the role of fathers and what happens when kids grow without them or without a proper representation of them. The boys also get into the fact that even though the pandemic has been nothing short of horrific there has been good that has come out of it. The boys joke and wonder how new parents will get innovative with their baby names and incorporate the name of the pandemic into them. They discuss the unity the pandemic has created and after a long time everyone has been forced to take a pause and look up and see the world. The pandemic has also exposed a lot of cracks in the society, that needs to be addressed. The boys end the episode with trying to understand why there is such a disconnect between the politicians and the people. Why politicians time and again are failing the youth and not being able to understand their cry. Listen in and see if you agree with what needs to happen.
